DINING
Sherrington Grange specialises in traditional country cooking, where the ingredients are very fresh, locally produced and served simply, for maximum taste. Marlborough is the perfect location for this; it is known as ‘the Gourmet Province’ for good reason. Salmon, crayfish (NZ rock lobster), oysters, green-lipped mussels, wild game, fish, organic fruit and vegetables, nuts, olive oil, NZ lamb and some of the world’s best wines are all found nearby. Full dinner with complimentary wine NZ$ 35 per person. Guests often prefer to eat with the family in the formal dining area but romantic dinners for two are also popular. Lisa will be preparing your meals, in many cases using recipes inherited from her grandmother and great-grandmother. Some of our favourite dishes are listed below.
